The room was great modern and high-class with a reduced menu and a comfy chair, for example and safety measures included smoke detectors. Our breakfast was really tasty with local ingredients.

I had extra special stay, the place is nicely decorated and stylish!

I ate at a lovely restaurant for evening meals. Appreciated its garden views. Its convenient, remote location was a plus.

The selection of delicious eggs and omelette was a bonus. Enjoyed the price of our family room with comfortable bed and its essentials. The hotel had a peaceful and fab location in the area would stay again. The service here was good! We received ironing for free, a nice bonus.

The room was spacious with comfy beds and a nice seating area. Loved the tea/coffee maker and included snacks like biscuits. The breakfast was great, with perfectly poached eggs and fresh options. The log fire in the bar area created a cozy vibe.

The room was beautifully decorated and had a cozy corner with an armchair that was perfect. The selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits was excellent and much appreciated. Breakfast was superb, especially the poached egg, the best I've ever had!

The bed was a bit firmer than I prefer.

The room was generously sized and super comfy with nice beds. Lots of coffee and tea were provided. Extra pillows if needed. The ensuite shower was spacious and easy to use. The cleanliness was an issue-found a brown stain on the duvet, and the shower area wasn't as super clean as it should've been. It felt a bit neglected this time around.

Enjoyed a great weekend, catching the Preston Vs Cardiff City match and indulging in the festive menu with two fantastic Magnums. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff made it nice. Plus, breakfast was a treat!

One downside was the lack of delivery options nearby, inconvenient after our night out. We ended up grabbing food beforehand.

Comfortable Stay with Great Service

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the fantastic steak from the kitchen-definitely a highlight. The early check-in made our arrival stress-free. Noise from the room above was disruptive at night, so request a first-floor room if you're sensitive to sound!

The only downside was the remote location, which made post-night out food delivery tricky, but we grabbed snacks beforehand! 😊

Ask for a family room tucked away at the end of the corridor for added privacy and quiet for kids.

The kids loved the spacious area to play, and the selection of teas and coffees was fantastic. The location was perfect for our day trips, and breakfast was included, made mornings easy.

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly menu options at dinner.
